WhoIs domain privacy

ICANN policy requires that all domains have up to date contact information attached to them. WhoIs (Who Is?) domain privacy will conceal your contact information from any online WhoIs look up. Here is a brief explanation of WhoIs look ups and how to protect your contact information from them.

What is Domain privacy

“WHOIS privacy” is the industry term for a registrar available option which allows your domain’s contact information to be made private and unavailable for public lookup. This is often implemented to avoid unwanted spam or sales inquiries regarding your website or the domain registration itself. The service we provide for this purpose is called ID Protection.

Note Not all domain TLD’s support WHOIS privacy.
